Rydz Reigns in Dudley: Luke Woodhouse & Callan Rydz Light Up Throwdown
A packed crowd at The Copthorne, another night that reminded everyone why live darts exhibitions in Dudley hit different. PDC pros Luke Woodhouse and Callan Rydz put on an amazing display against our finest content creators, the room never stopped singing, and a brand-new cash challenge left with its prize money still in the pot.
No birthday presents for Big Lez
The night after his birthday, Big Lez walked on to the Happy Birthday theme with the whole room rooting for him. Sadly for Lez, Callan Rydz doesn't do gifts - he took him apart, and the wait for that elusive win goes on. Next year, Lez. Maybe.
The creators came to fight
The people's picks kept coming. Many in the room fancied Darts Anonymous to spring the upset on Woodhouse - he couldn't quite manage it. Fan favourite Crutchley Darts got the same treatment, picked apart by a Woodhouse in ruthless mood. Divine Darts stepped up to the oche and gave it everything, and JR Darts will want this one back - by his own admission, not his best night at the office.
And then there's Luke Bod, who hit a record THREE 26s in one night. He claims two of them were on purpose. We'll let you be the judge of that when the YouTube video drops.
Jack Tweddle gives the pros a real game
You asked for it, we delivered. Loads of you have told us you want competitive matches alongside the creator chaos - someone who'll genuinely push the pros. Enter Throwdown's very own pro, Jack Tweddle, who beat Luke Woodhouse 2-1 in a thoroughly entertaining bit of darts before falling just short against Rydz. Two proper contests, and a new fixture we'll be keeping.

The 9-dart challenge: £100 unclaimed... so it's £200 next time
Our 9-dart challenge came with a twist this time: highest score from 9 darts wins the right to play Jack Tweddle over 3 legs - beat him and take home £100. If nobody wins, the prize doubles at the next event.
Contender Adam Kavanagh - a great player by all accounts - earned his shot, but the stage proved too much on the night and Tweddle saw him off comfortably. Which means the pot rolls over: £200 is up for grabs at our Gian van Veen night on 26 September. Fancy your arm?
The main event: Woodhouse vs Rydz
The night closed with the big one - a best-of-7 between the two pros. It went the way of the man from Newcastle: Rydz came out on top, capping a night where he barely put a dart wrong.
