Watching darts on telly is one thing. Standing in the room when the walk-on music drops and 400 people roar a 180 is something else entirely. That's what a darts exhibition is for - and 2026 is the best year yet to get to one.
What actually is a darts exhibition?
An exhibition is a live darts show rather than a ranked tournament. The pros aren't grinding for ranking points - they're there to entertain. That means walk-ons with the full production, games against local players and content creators, crowd challenges, Q&As, and the kind of showmanship you never see when a world title is on the line. Nobody leaves a great exhibition without a story.
Exhibition vs tournament: which should you go to?
- Tournaments (the World Championship, Premier League nights and the like) give you elite competitive darts in arenas - brilliant, but you're one of ten thousand, and the players are working.
- Exhibitions put you in the same room as the stars. Meet and greets, photos, autographs, and the chance to actually watch a World Champion up close - sometimes even play against one. Tickets are usually a fraction of arena prices too, typically somewhere between fifteen and sixty pounds depending on the package.
What happens on the night
Every promoter runs it differently, but a good exhibition night follows a rhythm: doors and a buzzing bar, walk-ons, the pro taking on challengers - often local legends and darts content creators - games and forfeits with the crowd, and a meet and greet where VIP ticket holders get photos and signatures. At our nights we'd add: expect singalongs, expect a 26 to get the biggest cheer of the night, and expect to be hoarse the next morning. The exhibition circuit is thriving nationwide in 2026 - theatres and clubs across the country host touring nights featuring legends and current stars alike, from seaside specials in Skegness to club nights the length of the country. Wherever you are, there's likely a night within an hour of you - and if you're in the Midlands, well, you already know where to look.
Tips for your first exhibition
- Book early. Good exhibitions sell out - ours regularly go weeks in advance.
- Go VIP if you can. The meet and greet is the bit you'll remember for years.
- Bring the family. Most exhibitions (including all of ours) are all-ages with kids' tickets.
- Learn the songs. You'll be singing them anyway - might as well know the words.
