How Much Do Darts Tickets Cost? Arena vs Exhibition Prices

Darts tickets range from about £25 for a local exhibition night to well over £100 for the biggest arena events once fees, travel and the obligatory arena pint are counted. Here is an honest breakdown of what you actually pay to watch live darts in 2026, and where the value hides.

Arena darts: the big TV events

The World Championship at Alexandra Palace, the Premier League nights and the majors are brilliant spectacles, and priced like it. Face value for ordinary seats typically starts around £40 to £60, rises fast for anything near the stage, and hospitality packages run into the hundreds. Then add booking fees, transport to a big city venue, parking and arena food prices. For a family of four, a single arena night can clear £300 before anyone has thrown a dart. And the players are, for most seats, people on a distant screen.

Exhibition nights: the close-up version

A darts exhibition flips the equation. The same professional players, in a room of hundreds rather than thousands, where every seat can see the board and the players walk past your table. Exhibition tickets across the UK generally run £20 to £40, and the format includes things arenas cannot do: fan games on stage, meet and greets, and photos with the players.

What Throwdown charges

Our nights at the Copthorne in Dudley are community priced on purpose:

  • Adult standard: £25 plus a £2.87 booking fee
  • Under 14s: £20 plus a £2.87 booking fee
  • VIP: varies by headliner, includes first entry into the room and a photo with the star of the night

Prices flex a little depending on who is headlining, but the idea never changes: a fraction of arena prices, minutes from Birmingham, with the pros and the content creators in touching distance. The next one is Gian van Veen, the reigning European Champion, on 26 September.

Ways to save on darts tickets

  • Book early: our nights regularly sell out, and VIP goes first. Waiting rarely gets cheaper.
  • Bring the kids: under 14 pricing makes it a family night out rather than an adults-only expense.
  • Join the list: our email list gets first access to tickets before they go on general sale, plus a discount on your first order when you sign up on the site.
